IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Assists with selecting the company's product and service providers and tracks the procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Manager leads request for proposals (RFP) process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Manager works closely with internal teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.   • HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network hire a Vendor Operations Manager to support the company's Product Quality and Vendor Management teams by taking charge of tool access for vendor resources, database management, the coordination of vendor business reviews, and vendor compliance with all corporate and team training requirements.

    As a Vendor Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

    • Vendor Worker Access Management:
    • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of Vendor Workers on the company's proprietary tools and corporate systems by working closely with Vendor Companies and the Contingent Workforce team.
    • Maintain a large database of approved, active Vendor Workers and support their periodic systems access renewals.
    • Communicate tool access status to Vendor Companies.
    • Troubleshoot vendor access issues,
    • Create vendor-specific tooling permission rule sets.
    • Stay up-to-date via internal discussion and collaboration groups on the company's evolving policies and trainings applicable for vendors.
    • Vendor Onboarding:
    • Facilitate in-person and remote video vendor training sessions.
    • Coordinate the collection and exchange of test files with internal stakeholders and vendors, i.e. file hand-off.
    • Provide vendors with weekly testing results and query support.
    • Track status of testing processes and provide updates to stakeholders.
    • Documentation:
    • Support the creation and maintenance of end-to-end process documentation, i.e. candidate discovery through on-boarding/off-boarding, and production.
    • Create and maintain ‘how-to’ documentation for new hires.
    • Suggest process improvements and document new processes as created.
    • Maintain standardized file formats and folder structure.
    • Vendor Performance Management:
    • Coordinate business review meetings with vendor contacts and internal stakeholders.
    • Using google suite tools, create surveys (and compile results) as well as presentations.
    • Miscellaneous:
    • Monthly performance meetings with vendors.
    • Assist in various reporting, e.g. headcount and purchase tracking.
    • Validate invoice compliance.

    • Data analytics and visualization experience
    • Active directory experience
    Commitment: This is a full-time, 12-month contract position staffed via HireArt and based in Menlo Park, CA. It will be fully remote until offices reopen and is available to candidates local to the Bay area.
