IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Assists with selecting the company's product and service providers and tracks the procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Manager leads request for proposals (RFP) process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Manager works closely with internal teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an IT Vendor Relationship Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-friendly individual to join our team as a full-time on-site role for an Office/Vendor Relationship Manager. The ideal candidate will be proactive, upbeat, and possess a "yes, I can take care" attitude. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, capable of managing various office tasks efficiently and ensuring excellent customer service.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Handle all aspects of office administration, ordering, checking acknowledgments for accuracy, managing client orders, preparing status reports, and invoicing.
    • Receiving goods and handling work room orders
    • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and reconcile vendor accounts.
    • Ensure excellent customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns
    • Perform basic accounting tasks as needed.
    • Welcome and engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner, serving as the initial point of contact for inquiries and consultations.
    • Promote interior design services offered by Gilles Clement Designs, effectively communicating the firm's unique value propositions and capabilities.
    • Communicate effectively with staff to ensure smooth operations and collaboration
    • Implement and maintain office systems and procedures, including training new employees
    • Coordinate office operations and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is ideal.
    • Basic accounting knowledge.
    • Minimum of 3 years of office experience.

    Skills required:

    • Strong time management and organizational skills.
    • Fluent in verbal and written English.
    • Experience with QuickBooks or POS systems is preferred.
    • Ability to work at a fast pace and respond to deadline pressure.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
