IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Assists with selecting the company's product and service providers and tracks the procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Manager leads request for proposals (RFP) process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. The Vendor Manager Specialist is responsible for managing preservation vendor work actions and communication associated with a portfolio of assigned assets, whether occupied or vacant and will oversee, monitor, and manage all preservation activities that preserve the property while identifying and addressing all health and safety issues at the property for resolution through the preservation vendor. The Vendor Manager Specialist will work closely with preservation vendors to ensure estimates are received and all work is completed in a timely manner. This position ensures workflow monitoring, vendor engagement, vendor retention, vendor communication, and adherence to all related company policies, timelines, and deliverables.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Communicate with vendors in order to protect and preserve vacant properties across all coverage areas.
Schedule preservation on vacant properties that range from inspections and general yard maintenance to full rehabilitation of properties.
Communication with municipalities at times to problem solve a variety of potential issues (violations, neighbor complaints, etc.)
Work closely with our vendor network to ensure preservation has been done on time and the cost is within industry standards.
Responsible to review all aspects of inspection and property preservation and to engage our vendor network to maintain these services.
Review property damages and any received bids and photos from vendors in order to ensure we have what has been requested or needed to preserve the property.
Maintain accountability of preservation vendor’s quality of work and management of timelines
Remain in contact with preservation vendors so that vacant properties are winterized, secured, and the lawn is maintained.
Continue to update property status and notes within the Aremco system(s) of record on a daily basis.
Is in compliance with all Aremco policies and procedures as well as all necessary GSE policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned
High School Diploma required
Knowledge of construction, preservation, REO, property management preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business-related field is a plus
Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships internally and with vendors.
Demonstrated multitasking, and organizational administrative skills.
Excellent attention to detail, and quality performance measurements
Strong verbal and written communication, emphasizing negotiation and follow-up skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Computer aptitude, to include working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and other office applications and software.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and strict deadlines
Works well in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with rapidly shifting priorities
