Immigration Specialist oversees immigration programs and assists foreign nationals with immigration procedures. Ensures all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Being an Immigration Specialist processes tax treaty evaluations and withholding categories for all visa recipients. Reviews immigration procedures and legal status of foreign employees. Additionally, Immigration Specialist may be responsible for compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree.     Firearms and other projectile weapons are only as good as the ammunition that goes in them. That makes the storage and distribution of ammunition - all ammunition - an undertaking of paramount importance.

    As the Ammunition Specialist, you’ll ensure this vital job is done correctly through precise handling, storage, and documentation of ordnance.

    The primary responsibility of an Army National Guard Ammunition Specialist is to ensure the proper receipt, storage, documentation, and issuance of conventional ammunition, guided missiles, large rockets, and related items.

    These duties may include the inspection, modification, and demilitarization of various munitions. You will also learn how to maintain nuclear weapons, and how to handle, test, and maintain missiles and rockets.

    Job Duties

    • Operate computer hardware and software / utilities or keep manual records in order to perform stock control and accounting procedures
    • Perform ammunition supply stock control and accounting duties using both automated and manual procedures
    • Inspect weapon systems to determine need for repair or destruction

    Some of the Skills You’ll Learn

    • Operation of automated and manual ammunition management systems

    Job training for an Ammunition Specialist consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, as well as seven weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
