Immigration Specialist oversees immigration programs and assists foreign nationals with immigration procedures. Ensures all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Being an Immigration Specialist processes tax treaty evaluations and withholding categories for all visa recipients. Reviews immigration procedures and legal status of foreign employees. Additionally, Immigration Specialist may be responsible for compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Immigration Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The types of services we offer are Asylum, Perm, Green Cards, Employment visas, Investment visas, DACA, Family-Based Visas, Marriage visas, citizenship, Deportation, cancelation of removals, and more. We also have a Mental Health Care company named Atlas Global Healthcare that provides support for other social services needs for Women and Children who have been victims of Domestic Violence and relief for victims of Trafficking, sexual, trauma, and mental abuse. We work hand in hand with the counties and states providing placement, treatment, and relocation back into the community.  We have a team of staff members that are from different countries. We are an organization that people trust and rely on.

    Having knowledge of languages other than English is a must. Spanish and Portuguese speaking skills. The majority of our clients are from Latin America, including Brazil.
     
    Responsibilities:
    • We process many different types of visas like family-based, employment-based, business-based, cancellation of removals, deportation procedures, and citizenship-based visas nationwide. 
    • The candidate must be efficient in filling out forms in either some or all of the visa types.
    • Candidate must have basic or exceptional knowledge of different immigration petitions and filing processes.
    • Atlas will also train the candidate to do all facets of petition prep and filing.
    • Atlas will also be willing to get credentials for the candidate to be accredited with the Dept. Of Justice as a partial or fully accredited representative.

    This candidate will help do the clients form filings, and screenings, communicate directly with all clients, prepare applications/petitions, assist in off-property seminars and presentations, and help with cultivating community awareness for immigration with directors. Will be working closely with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Department of State, the Department of Justice: (EOIR) Executive Office of Immigration Review, and the Department of Labor.

    Job Details:
    This position is full-time with health benefits, 10 days PTO, and 1-week vacation along with bonuses after a probationary period or on a contractual (1099) basis.

    The position needs to be filled IMMEDIATELY. It would be a bonus if you are bilingual but not a prerequisite.
