Ensures all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Being an Immigration Specialist processes tax treaty evaluations and withholding categories for all visa recipients. Reviews immigration procedures and legal status of foreign employees. Additionally, Immigration Specialist may be responsible for compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Immigration Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Job Summary:
Under the immediate direction of designated Surgery management, provides reception and secretarial support to the unit. Maintains surgical procedure data base, scheduling procedures for surgery, treatment rooms; and prints various reports and processes all applicable charges.
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications:
Experience:
One to two years’ experience in a patient service environment preferred.
Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED); course work or training in office operation including typing, word processing, filing and office procedures.
