    Job Description:

    • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research using online databases, libraries, and other resources to gather relevant case law, statutes, regulations, and legal articles.
    • Document Preparation: Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and correspondence under the supervision of attorneys.
    • Case Management: Assist with case preparation, including organizing and maintaining case files, scheduling meetings, and tracking deadlines.
    • Client Communication: Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters to gather information and provide updates on case status.
    • Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts, administrative agencies, and other relevant entities, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines.
    • Discovery Support: Assist with the discovery process by gathering, reviewing, and organizing documents and evidence relevant to litigation.
    • Trial Support: Provide support during trial proceedings, including preparing trial exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and assisting attorneys with courtroom logistics.
    • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining attorney calendars.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
    • Certificate or degree in paralegal studies preferred.
    • Proficiency in legal research methods and resources.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent English & Spanish language skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software applications.
    • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
    • Previous experience working in a law firm or legal department preferred.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
