Implementation Manager manages a team of implementation specialists responsible for installing and deploying technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Ensures the team is following department policies and procedures. Being an Implementation Manager manages and supports multiple implementation projects. Assesses client's requirements, develops scopes and cost estimates, and creates project plans and schedules. Additionally, Implementation Manager ensures that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Responds to and resolves escalated client issues during or after implementations. Troubleshoots and recommends solutions to implementation problems or challenges. May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or assist in developing proposals. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of technical specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Implementation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Implementation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Director, GME Implementation (Part Time)(Multiple Positions)

    • Responsible for the planning and implementation of the program goals to carry out the HB 2753 provisions.
    • Provides strategic leadership in developing relationships at county, state, and national levels appropriate to the rural nature and goals of the program. 
    • Serves as the primary resource person for program information.
    • Resolves problems and overcomes obstacles through in person, written and oral communication.
    • Determines and recommends program initiatives with executive leadership including program stability and growth
    • Develops and assists with budgets, reports, and updates. Monitors account expenditures.
    • Recruits, manages, coaches, develops, and evaluates program staff for effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Performs needs assessments, evaluates and analyzes individual project and overall program effectiveness
    • Responsible for implementing appropriate procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy to fulfill the HB 2753 provisions. 
    • Provides training or professional development in the subject matter or methodology of the program. 
    • Oversees development of information flyers, newsletters, reports, internal forms and various materials to facilitate programs and services.
    • Oversee writing grants, drafting budgets and budget justifications to help finance both the start-up and long term sustainability of a primary care residency program.
    • Responsible for coordinating the steps necessary to obtain primary care residency accreditation.
    • Assist with long term financing planning and approval to obtain Medicaid and Medicare GME subsidies once residents are accepted into the primary care residency program.
    • Responsible for decision-making of the feasibility of expanding an existing or starting a new primary care residency (graduate medical education or GME) program in a rural or urban medically under-served area (health professional shortage area or HPSA).
    • Provide technical assistance to these entities to begin the process of expanding / starting  a primary care residency program.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

    • Knowledge and/or experience working in hospital or health service environment.
    • Familiarity with the application processes to obtain primary care residency training.
    • Knowledge of Arizona and the Southwest's rural communities and healthcare services.
    • Familiarity with federally qualified health center, Indian Health Service and Tribal-operated clinics and hospitals
