In this role, you will partner with business architects across workstreams for the Medtronic Product DNA program. Product DNA is an enterprise-wide transformation looking at driving simplification and efficiency to help better deliver our products to our patients by moving from a document centric to a data centric PLM/PDM process/culture.
The Product DNA program aims to simplify the way we create, manage, and utilize product data. The north star vision of Product DNA is to create a foundational connected digital thread of product information. The Product DNA program will improve upon outdated technology and infrastructure through streamlining systems used across the organization, as well as implementing best-in-class practices and procedures. This change will impact all groups, functions, and regions across Medtronic. This will be a multi-year, multi-phase program.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Focus on capturing user needs, business requirements, business process and impact to organization
Needs to be comfortable working across all areas of the date and procedures required in MedTech, Part and Product, Design and Engineering, Regulatory, UDI, etc.
Understand cross-workstream dependencies and develop solutions with Stakeholders and P-DNA Workstream Leads.
In addition to working across the P-DNA workstreams this role will take the lead on the P-DNA solution for Suppliers and Operations
Understand the key challenges that sponsor and key stakeholders face
Help define the performance goals, metrics, and key milestones for the proposed solutions
Increase the level of stakeholder confidence
Engage with the business to document user needs and deliver value realization
Ensure the alignment of functionality and functional deliverables across all workstreams
Work with solution architects and workstream leads to explore and define how proposed solutions will fit into overall enterprise architecture.
Identify risks and assumptions associated with the functional elements of the solution
Champion Product DNA in a way that engages and excites the end user community
