    POSITION:  Label Quoting Coordinator

    LOCATION:  Brighton, Michigan (hybrid)

    Lowry Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Labels Quoting Coordinator to join our team. As a Labels Quoting Coordinator, you will be crucial in providing accurate and timely quotations for our customers.

    Position Overview

    Label Quoting Coordinator contacts vendors to obtain supplies (labels and ribbons) quotes based on customer’s specifications.  Responsibilities include selecting material and sourcing vendor quotes on behalf of sales position.  This is a sales supporting role acting as a liaison between Lowry sales team and vendors.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Collaborate with sales and order management team to gather necessary information for accurate quoting.
    • Contacts vendors to obtain supplies quotes based on customer’s specifications.
    • Prepares quotes – standard items (catalog items) are quoted; quotes with layouts are cross checked to ensure request for quote and layout reflect correct information; custom quotes are developed individually.
    • Utilizes Price Guides, Catalogs and Sage Intacct to formalize quotes and maintain documentation.
    • Maintains quote-filing system.
    • Label contract management.
    • Inventory management.
    • Liaison to sales and order management teams.
    • Reviews daily requests for quotes received via email, telephone, or mail. Quotes are received from internal sources and the sales team.
    • Maintains a list of vendors.
    • Prepare and submit comprehensive and professional quotations to sales within specified timelines.
    • Review and negotiate terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company policies and customer requirements.
    • Maintain information in customer management system (CRM) software.
    • Provide support to the sales team by answering inquiries related to quotations and pricing.
    • Gathers new requests for quotes (RFQ’s) and enters into system (use of Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Salesforce, PSI and Sage Intacct)
    • Maintains quote database by tracking, updating status and documenting quotes.
    • Communicates with the customer to obtain more information, answer questions related to status, provide feedback as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Strong computer skills, MS Office Suite, Outlook, Teams and comfortable learning new software applications.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Time management skills and a sense of urgency.
    • Ability to multi-task ensuring that all due dates are met or improved upon.
    • Highly organized, keenly focused with high attention to detail.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Must be a team player with a positive demeanor.

    Education and/or Experience

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED).  Associate degree preferred.  Minimum two years’ administrative experience.  Pressure sensitive label knowledge a plus.  Experience with Salesforce.com and or Sage Intacct desirable.
