Import Technician

Twin City Dealerships in Alcoa, TN needs to hire an Import Technician to start immediately. We are looking for someone who preferably has a proven track record of working on Import vehicles and at least 2 years’ Tech experience, preferably at a dealership. Schedule: Monday to Friday - Weekend availability

Responsibilities:

• Complete preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
• Maintain vehicle functional condition by listening to driver’s complaints
• Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
• Comply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
• Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
• Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions.
• Contain costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications etc.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years’ Tech experience, preferably at a dealership
• A proven track record of working on Import vehicles is a PLUS.
• Must have your own standard tools and be ready to start immediately.
• ASE Certification required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
