Import Coordination Manager jobs in Longview, TX
Import Coordination Manager manages operations and processes for scheduling, shipping/receiving, and documentation to import foreign goods and materials. Coordinates licensing, documentation, and payments. Being an Import Coordination Manager ensures compliance with all regulations and laws. Monitors schedules for potential delays and expedites and negotiates with shippers to resolve issues to ensure imported goods arrive on time. Additionally, Import Coordination Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Import Coordination Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Job scope:
Provides transportation assistance for ACT & IST Team patients. Transports patients to doctor appointments, psychosocial rehab appointments, and appointments in the community. Will maintain vehicle logs to track transportation and when routine maintenance is required. Must be patient, professional and demonstrate positive attitude. Demonstrates ability to locate various addresses throughout the East Texas area.
Education/licensure: Current valid driver's license in state of residence. Good driving record. GED or high school diploma.
Experience/Knowledge: Ability to complete basic paperwork requirements related to each program. Knowledge and ability to locate addresses within the Longview metropolitan area as well as surrounding communities in order to pick up and deliver customers to their destinations. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Able to work cooperatively with individuals and family to establish a positive relationship. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job:
