This position is key to the global outsourcing and logistics of our products. Must be a team player as the position requires daily collaboration with various departments within the company. Well versed in customs and duties regulations, particularly NCM codes, HTS codes and incoterms. Looking for the individual who will roll up their sleeves and go the extra mile to get the job done accurately and effectively. The perfect candidate will enjoy crossing their t's and dotting their i's.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchases, on-time delivery, and shipping of Brazil outside service facility.
• Manage shipments across various modes of transport for import/export purposes.
• Manage our drawback system using drawback laws and regulations knowledge.
• Review, research, and prepare internal data for drawback import/export entry.
• Calculate freightmeasurements and perform unit conversions.
• Obtain and create quotes for shipments and source the best method of transportation.
• Confirm all import/export tariff codes (HTS, Schedule B) are properly applied to shipments.
• Analyze broker reports, import/export packets, and internal logistics data.
• Address questions about shipments, billing, services, carriers, and escalating urgent issues.
• Create process and procedure improvements where required improvements are identified.
• Actively communicate with team members, carriers, and vendors to meet deliverables.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Accounting, Customer Service, and other areas.

Qualifications

• Understand the concept of international trade, including Incoterms.
• Knowledge of import/export customs processes, practices, and procedures.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors in logistics, supply chain management, or related field, ideal but not required.
• Minimum three years of experience in purchasing, import/export or freight forwarding.
• Prior experience working with logistics and tracking systems.
• Drawback experience a plus.
• ERP Manufacturing experience, Visual Manufacturing Software a plus.
• IT literate including knowledge of MS Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
