Import Analyst

As an Import Analyst, reporting to the Logistic Team Lead, you will coordinate import shipments for a larger site and monitor related administrative processes from order execution to delivery of goods.

In this position you will:

• Track shipment(s) on a daily basis
• Effectively communication shipment delays/issues with internal logistics teams as well as vendors
• Work in conjunction with customs brokers to ensure all required customs clearance procedures and documentation are complied with
• Check conformity of import documents for correct values, commodity classifications, tariff codes and authorizations, and record delivery in SAP.
• Participate in the creation of reports or records concerning potential or verified matters of non- compliance
• Proactively assess areas of improvement by problem solving and developing solutions
• Provide communications to global leadership on areas of import risks relating to production
• Identify payment discrepancies and prevents invoicing errors.
• Maintain records of import and export shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your professional profile includes:

• 2-3 plus years’ experience in the industry, preferably in a Transportation, Customer Care, or Supply Chain role
• University Degree preferred; Associates Degree with a relevant industry experience considered
• Proficiency in SAP strongly preferred
• Proven Analytical skills utilizing Excel
• Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
