Key Responsibilities: Manages the assigned merchandising team’s efforts in maximizing sell-side position, trading volume and gross profit. Develops and manages cash merchandising and sell-side relationships for all commodities in an assigned region. Identifies, manages, and communicates price/bid information for assigned areas. Communicates with sales and merchandising teams regarding market conditions and trading opportunities in assigned areas. Leads the development and delivery of sales training programs for the assigned segment or line of business. Identifies new and/or modifies existing strategies and/or merchandising methods to meet or exceed volume goals reflected in growth plans.
