Inbound Contact Center Supervisor jobs in Saint Petersburg, FL

Inbound Contact Center Supervisor supervises inbound contact center agents and operations focusing on selling products or services. Monitors metrics and targets for service volume, sales, and timeliness. Being an Inbound Contact Center Supervisor responds to escalated calls with remedies or solutions. Implements sales and product training to update staff on product and service offerings, customer response standards, scripts, operational policies, and procedures. Additionally, Inbound Contact Center Supervisor prepares staff work schedules to ensure coverage and coordinate training. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Inbound Contact Center Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inbound Contact Center Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Responsibilities:

    • Provides information on customer service issues related to life and health insurance, annuity and investment products and transactions focusing on customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency.
    • Communicates with customers regarding service requests or problems.
    • Documents, evaluates and resolves customer’s inquiries.
    • Works with other departments to complete customer requests and minimize escalations.
    • Represents our customer with professional pride to internal and external customers.
    • Consistently meets/exceeds set quality and productivity metrics.
    • Functions within a team based environment, and actively participates in achieving team goals.

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience with call center or customer service experience/training.
    • Fundamental computer knowledge and maneuverability within window applications.
    • Basic understanding of Microsoft office suite, specifically Word and Excel.
    • General understanding of life and health insurance, annuity, and investment products is a plus.

    Behavioral and Leadership Competencies

    • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of customer and company information.
    • Ability to work independently and seek additional opportunities when able.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
