Industrial Cleaning Service Technicians at Emory Industrial Services provide superior industrial blasting services and chemical cleaning across a broad range of customers and industries. Technicians must be comfortable performing jobs in a variety of work environments, work safely from various heights, be willing to travel extensively, be a skilled problem-solver and be willing to acquire new skills and knowledge.
Industrial Cleaning Service Technicians responsibilities include:
Exhibit proficiency and safe use of all tools, machinery, and equipment associated with performing a chemical cleaning, hydro-blasting, or dry-ice job.
Complete understanding and proper use of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for personnel protection for any task associated with a cleaning job, vessel entry and other special task assignments.
Possess the knowledge to determine the proper temporary inlet and outlet connection points to establish circulation paths for chemical cleaning or hydro-blasting of equipment.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the entire chemical cleaning process, including the ability to:
Identify, quantify and provide details on the best application for a specific contaminant or type of fouling to complete the cleaning process, and
Develop a complete procedure and timeline with a step-by-step procedure to complete the cleaning task.
Ability to transport machinery and other equipment.
Set up and tear down machines and equipment as needed on customer sites.
Keep all areas clean and organized on customer sites.
Submit time worked via means requested by Emory Industrial Service.
Schedules vary by the week- 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour, day shifts - Monday-Friday
