Role Overview:

We're actively seeking a talented and enthusiastic Industrial Designer with 3-7 years of design experience, although will consider recent graduates with strong portfolios to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in developing concepts and fostering innovation across various industries. This position prioritizes meticulous attention to shaping and designing details and a genuine understanding and empathy for the consumer.

The designer will be responsible to collaborate or spearhead consumer concept efforts by creating new bottle design solutions. These ideas will be crafted using various methods such as sketching, 3D CAD designs, and renderings to interpret customer requirements.

Primary duties include supporting the creative team with tasks such as project discovery, brainstorming, 3D form development, and consideration of human factors. Centered on our customers' and consumers' needs, this position will involve continuous advancement in design, validation of concepts, and ongoing learning.

The successful candidate will actively collaborate with various engineering groups, embracing teamwork with cross-functional partners from Strategic Marketing, Commercial Teams, and Operations. Additionally, the ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to confidently present to both customers and colleagues and work independently when necessary.

Our in-house design team provides comprehensive support across diverse industries, including Beverage, Food, Nutritional, Automotive, and Household Care. Our design staff is widely recognized within the industry and is poised to provide valuable guidance and support for the growth and development of the individual in this design role. Our client base includes prominent blue-chip customers, and we ensure that generated ideas are seamlessly integrated into our engineering process for production. Experience in Plastic Blow-Molding design and development is a plus.

• Generate innovative design concepts and solutions for new packaging products, considering functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.
• Ingenuity, creativity, exploration, and integrating form and function are fundamental aspects of the job.
• Enhance designs through iterative processes, integrating feedback from clients, internal teams, market trends, and end-users to address complex challenges.
• Collaborate with business unit development, customers, and industry experts to understand industry, sustainability, and consumer trends, influencing innovation and development strategies.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners to implement the production process and address any design-related challenges.
• Stay updated on advancements in design software and technology to enhance design processes.
• Always maintain enthusiasm, integrity, creativity, and a deep understanding of what defines our distinctive packaging company.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Continuously seek to expand their packaging industry knowledge and remain adaptable to our progressive work environment.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and clients professionally.

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Fine Arts (BFA), or a relevant field.
• Highly skilled in employing advanced surfacing techniques with 3D modeling complex shapes for production.
• Proficient in utilizing software like SolidWorks, Fusion 360, KeyShot, Rhino, and comparable tools.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint for 2D design tasks, with animation skills as a valuable addition.
• Creative thinking and a strong portfolio showcasing design projects and problem-solving skills.
• Possesses a strong sense of form, with experience in digital sculpture considered an added advantage.
• Exceptional design sensibility for crafting visually appealing and user-friendly solutions.
• Having experience in both AI and UX design is an added advantage.
• Fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States.
