The Industrial Air Filter Product Manager is a working position located in Riverside, California overseeing air filter development for industrial markets. The job entails working in all aspects of K&N Research & Development and requires a thorough understanding industrial filtration needs for HVAC or similar devices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manages development of all industrial air filtration products from conception through production.
• Works closely with the Director of Global Filtration PD to align company goals that support the sales & marketing teams as well as other cross-functional departments.
• Must have thorough understanding of data center cooling/HVAC equipment, how they operate and filtration requirements.
• Thoroughly understands industrial filtration needs for data centers, manufacturing facilities, industrial and commercial settings, retail stores, etc.
• Thoroughly understands air flow principles, including pressure drop charts and air flow measuring devices.
• Works closely with the K&N Manufacturing team to ensure fit, form, function and quality requirements are met.
• Works closely with K&N Procurement to ensure purchased components meet quality standards along with timelines.
• Works closely with K&N Marketing and Sales teams on technical aspects of marketing communication, pricing and sales support.
• Provides essential data, timelines and business cases for industrial filtration product needs, along with possible accessories to complement.

• Travel (5-10%) to support sales and marketing needs within the data center, commercial and retail spaces.

Experience, Skills & Education:

• Must have thorough knowledge of HVAC and industrial filtration markets.
• Must have a background in HVAC & air handling engineering, testing and manufacturing.
• 5 years in similar role.
• Knowledge of CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Windows software.
