ZACHRY is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Site Manager for maintenance work. It will be covering 2 different jobsites: One located at the Coronado Generating Station in St. Johns, AZ. and the second at Bayer Marana jobsite in Marana, AZ (near Tucson, AZ). The office will be based out of Coronado Generating Station which is located approximately 7 Miles North of St. Johns, AZ on Hwy 191.

Position Summary

Site Manager to perform job duties and responsibilities safely, efficiently, and accurately while assisting the client in coordination and execution of work activities for all work disciplines at an Industrial Power Plant.

Qualification Highlights

Manage all aspects of Daily Maintenance and Outage activities associated with a 700 MW Power Generating Station

Position Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate tasks to project staff
• Coach and train staff
• Flow process and Metrics
• Oversee/Manage Cost & forecast information
• Prepare and submit daily reports
• Prepare and submit estimates and attend meetings
• Assure the integrity of cost/scheduling information
• Troubleshooting problem areas with craftsmen
• Build and maintain customer relationships

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Demonstrated industrial construction/maintenance history experience
• Organization and time management
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Good aptitude and manual dexterity
• Knowledge of math concepts, geometry, and layout
• Demonstrated ability to lead others and provide detailed instructions
• Good reading comprehension
• Ability to work with others – team player
• Ability to work independently – minimal supervision
• Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors

• Must have experience with commonly used computer software

Requirements

• Clear Criminal Background Check (CBC)
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

• Maintenance and Outage Experience at a Power Generating Station preferred
• Former Zachry Employee
• Basic Computer efficiency Formal/technical education

Physical Requirements

• Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting. Will talk and hear to communicate. May work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of temporary elevated platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements. Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE. Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.
