Valve Technician

Responsible for assembling, repairing, testing, and troubleshooting various valves under applicable codes standards, and regulations per manufacturer requirements.

• Valve repair, rebuild, installation (shop & field)

- Work Plans/Task Lists - Development & CI

• Materials/Kitting – Development & CI

• Shop Organization & Cleanliness

• Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of valves including gate, globe, butterfly, non-automated, or control valves.
• Implement preventive measures to extend the lifespan and reliability of valves.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot valve-related issues and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct testing and calibration of valves.
• Provide inputs in CI activities - processes, results, and cost savings.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the SAP WOs.
• Verify materials, equipment, and tools required are ready.
• Kits and stages materials, equipment, and tools where/when viable.
