WVII-TV / WFVX-TV is currently seeking a Broadcast Technician. This is a permanent full time position. This position will assist in maintaining and installing all broadcast equipment and systems. You will also provide technical support to all departments including news, sales and business.
Experience in electronics and or broadcast engineering prefered.
Position Requirements & Responsibilities:
-Strong IT skills
-Ability to maintain servers, workstations, routers, switchers, satellite antennas, transmitters, etc.
-Learn Master Control procedures and be able to cover shifts
-Help others with computer needs
-Setup remote equipment for live broadcasts
-On call outside of work hours in emergency situations
-Familiar with video editing software (Edius & Adobe Premiere, etc.)
-Assist viewers with reception issues
-Ability to manage email server, phone system, IT networks and domains, etc.
