Industrial Hygienist jobs in Jackson, MS
Industrial Hygienist coordinates, plans and conducts programs to educate employees about cleanliness, safety and sanitation in the workplace. Inspects facilities and work areas to prescribes corrective actions to reduce the health risks. Being an Industrial Hygienist provides advice on methods and procedures to reduce occupational health risks. Determines measures to avoid any recurrence of accidents. Additionally, Industrial Hygienist evaluates facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promotes maintenance of a sanitary working environment. Conducts training in environmental compliance and the handling of hazardous materials. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. The Industrial Hygienist contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Schedule:
Monday through Thursday
7:45am-5pm
As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, giving your patients the time and care they need, deserve and desire. Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Mississippi and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
