Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator jobs in Everett, WA

Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator drives gasoline or diesel powered tractors to move materials and tow trailers. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and must be licensed to operate a industrial truck/tractor. Being an Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator also requires 2-4 years of experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.     • Ability to pack at rate
    • Ability to safely operate tape dispensers, safety knives, and other pack related tools.
    • Ability to work with common cleaning solvents (denatured alcohol) and adhesives
    • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. IE: work instructions
    • Pursue ongoing goal of cost reductions
      • Responsible for assuring the conformity of packing requirements to customer requirements
    Physical Requirements

    • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
    • Requires ability to push/pull at approximately shoulder height
    • Maximum lifting requirement is approximately 50 lbs, infrequently
    • Break times are scheduled and enforced

    Skill, training, or educational requirements
    This is an entry-level warehouse position requiring a good work ethic and the ability to speak (or write) and understand English sufficiently to receive training, interact with coworkers and team leaders, and read and complete paperwork. Through in-house training, advancement is possible.
