Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Horticulture Services is currently accepting applications for our Snow Removal Tractor (4066R) Operator (On-call) position. The primary purpose of this position is to remove snow from driveways at homeowner associations while operating a John Deere 4066R tractor w/ Pronovost Cyclone Inverted Snowblower. Need some specific details?- Pay starts at $40.00 per hour ($43.00 per hour if you have previously removed snow for Horticulture Services).
- This is an On-call position, that is, able to be contacted to provide snow removal service when necessary.
- Primary purpose is to remove snow from driveways at homeowner associations.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:- Safely operate a John Deere 4066R tractor w/ Pronovost Cyclone Inverted Snowblower during winter conditions.
- Willingness to receive training and to gain an understanding of the Horticulture Services approach to Snow Removal.
- Follow instructions from Supervisor.
Requirements include, but not limited to:- Need reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must have some operating experience, and thus be able to show competency prior to hiring.
