Experienced Grapple/Heavy Equipment Operator
Our organization is seeking an experienced grapple & heavy equipment operator with specific experience in heavy metal recycling.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Exceptional equipment operating knowledge and skills
· Maintain equipment – grease, daily inspections, safety, etc.
· Contribute to a positive team spirit
· Regularly communicate with project manager
· Maintain a clean, safe, work area in compliance with corporate & OSHA standards
· Organize materials and safely load trucks to be shipped offsite
Requirements
· Minimum of 5 years operating heavy equipment
· Experience operating a 30/40 ton hydraulic excavator
· Experience using a mag and grapple
· Experience shearing material
· Knowledge of mechanical repairs on hydraulic excavator
· Experience processing, sorting & grading scrap metal
· Interior and exterior demolition knowledge
· Class A CDL a bonus
