Additionally, Infection Control Coordinator evaluates sterilization and disinfection methods and recommends changes as necessary. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Infection Control Coordinator contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The infection Control Preventionist (ICP) evalutes quality of resident care and resident outcomes as they relate to healthcare associated infrections; collects, prepares and analyzes healthcare associated infection data; prevents infection date and makes recommendations for actions; monitors employee compliance in use of barriers and infection prevention measures; prepared and presents eduational offerings for the staff; serves as a resources to all departments and personnel and implements programs to protect the healthcare workers, visitors, and others in the healthcae enviroment.
Hours: Full time 32hrs
Rates: Up to $49hr based on experience

Requirements:
RN license in MA
Completion of CDC infection prevention courser located directly on CDC website (20hrs) which includdes CDC certification(course may be taken before start date during new hire)
Fully vaccinated and booster required per MA regulations
