Infection Control Coordinator monitors and investigates known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and contain outbreak. Reviews sterilization and disinfection techniques and recommends changes as needed. Being an Infection Control Coordinator provides related education to staff. Prepares simple cultures as needed for environmental and individual studies. Additionally, Infection Control Coordinator evaluates sterilization and disinfection methods and recommends changes as necessary. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Infection Control Coordinator contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Duties/Responsibilities:- Liaison between clients and manufacturers on inquiries, orders and project support.
- Responsible for issuing pricing and material lead time information.
- Communicate with factory logistics team to expediate project orders.
- Assist with scheduling of internal field service team.
- Coordinate client requests for pricing and information.
- Work with sales team on clarification of project requirements.
Required Skills/Abilities:- Project Coordinator experience would be a plus.
- Two (2) years of experience in the lighting or controls industry is preferred.
- A self-starter who is independently driven to succeed.
- Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented.
- Able to work well under pressure, takes initiative.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and solve issues with minimal supervision.
- Aptitude for math.
- Able to form relationships with customers.
- Exceptional Customer Service Experience.
- Ability to proficiently work with MSOffice (Excel a must!)
- Team player mentality.
