Job Summary:
As the Warehouse Quality Control Coordinator, you will play a critical role in overseeing the quality of products entering and leaving our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various teams to ensure that our products meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Inspection:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and quality.
Verify that products match purchase orders and packing lists.
Identify and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during the receiving process.
Outbound Inspection:
Conduct final quality checks on outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and product integrity.
Verify that orders are correctly picked, packed, and labeled.
Document and report any issues or deviations from quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of outbound shipments.
Quality Control Procedures:
Develop and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures for inbound and outbound processes.
Continuously monitor and improve quality control standards.
Train warehouse staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality-related issues.
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
Work closely with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels.
Prepare, perform and respond to customer inventory and transaction audits.
Walk warehouse floor identifying current or potential future damages to client products and work with local teams to correct.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
Participate in regular safety training and promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in warehouse operations and quality control.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify product defects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and related software.
Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Forklift certification (if applicable) is preferred.
