Additionally, Infection Control Coordinator evaluates sterilization and disinfection methods and recommends changes as necessary. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Infection Control Coordinator contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Clinical Services Director & Infection Control Officer
Northwest Human Services is currently seeking a Clinical Services Director and Infection Control Officer to join our Team at our West Salem Clinic in Salem, Oregon!
Are you an experienced healthcare leader interested in improving the lives of the underserved, homeless, LGBTQ, or refugee populations? We are a fully integrated Federally Qualified Health Center with locations in west Salem and Monmouth. Our collaborative care teams are mission driven and provide patients with primary care, psychiatry, therapy, case management, and dental services.
In this role, the Clinical Services Director is responsible for organizing and overseeing all nursing operations of the agency including multiple sites and service lines. They will design workflow systems, assign, and delegate tasks, coordinate vaccine schedules and department staff meetings, and maintain compliance standards for OHSA, HRSA, FTCA, Joint Commission, HIPAA, and our CCO’s.

POSITION STATUS: Full-time Salaried | Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000.00 (Internal candidates that are currently employed here at NWHS are not eligible for a sign-on bonus.)
SPECFIC DUTIES:
Oversees the performance of staff performing waived testing (glucometer and A1c), following specific protocol.
