Infection Control Manager jobs in Biloxi, MS

Infection Control Manager develops and implements infection control policies designed to reduce or eliminate outbreaks in the facility. Develops and implements facility-wide infection prevention and control measures to protect patients, staff and visitors. Being an Infection Control Manager monitors patient care for compliance with established standards and investigates known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and ensure control. Develops and provides related education to staff. Additionally, Infection Control Manager complies with state, federal and Joint Commission standards relating to infection control. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Infection Control Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     - Base pay $17-$20/hr based on experience and certifications
    - Typical earning potential of $40-$55k once on a production route

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience preferred.
    • Excellent verbal communication skills, friendliness, and ability to build rapport required.
    • Must possess the ability to learn and communicate technical, industry-related data pertaining to the services to be sold.
    • Must have a clean-cut, professional image, sense of pride, integrity, courage, self-motivation, attention-to-detail, perseverance, follow-up skills, and dependability.
    • Must display a positive demeanor, professionalism, and desire to please potential and existing customers.
    • Must enjoy working independently.

    Job Description:

    • Perform inspections and treatments
    • Inspect premises to identify infestation source and extent of damage to property, wall, or roof porosity and access to infested locations
    • Recommend treatment and prevention methods for pest problems to clients
    • Have daily check-in with Supervisor to discuss the day’s production and any issues, questions, or concerns that arose during the day
    • Must attend regular meetings and must be punctual with a consistent presence at the office
    • Resolve customer issues
    • Meet sales targets
    • Assist in collection efforts
    • Work well under the pressure of deadlines
    • Continually build relationships and promote excellent customer service, integrity, and professionalism
    • Work extensive hours to generate results
    • Perform all other duties assigned
