Infection Control Manager develops and implements infection control policies designed to reduce or eliminate outbreaks in the facility. Develops and implements facility-wide infection prevention and control measures to protect patients, staff and visitors. Being an Infection Control Manager monitors patient care for compliance with established standards and investigates known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and ensure control. Develops and provides related education to staff. Additionally, Infection Control Manager complies with state, federal and Joint Commission standards relating to infection control. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Infection Control Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     We are looking for a Residential Pest Control Technician to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated. Our technicians work independently throughout the day, while being supported by an incredible team of pest management professionals. If you enjoy being on the go, working outdoors, learning something new everyday, and interacting with a variety of customers, this position might be just what you have been searching for.


    Position responsibilities include providing pest control services for our customers and setting reasonable expectations of results after services are performed. We provide all necessary training to get you started on your career as a pest management professional, as well as continuing education to keep you up to date on the latest and greatest in the pest world.


    Duties include:

    • Provide timely and effective pest detection, elimination and prevention solutions to an established route of residential and commercial customers
    • Safely driving a company vehicle
    • Long periods of walking, kneeling, squatting. Could involve walking up to 7 miles per day.
    • Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers
    • Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents
    • Provide customers with general information about our various services
    • Conduct service calls as needed
    • Problem solving and/or complaint resolution
    • Enjoy working outdoors
    • Not have a fear of bugs, snakes, rodents, etc.
    • Not have a fear of tight spaces
    • Be able to withstand long periods of squatting, standing and walking
    • Be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs
    • Have excellent listening and communication skills
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    To be qualified:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must have a valid Florida driver's license with minimal moving violation points
    • This position requires background screenings
    • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
