Infection Control Manager develops and implements infection control policies designed to reduce or eliminate outbreaks in the facility. Develops and implements facility-wide infection prevention and control measures to protect patients, staff and visitors. Being an Infection Control Manager monitors patient care for compliance with established standards and investigates known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and ensure control. Develops and provides related education to staff. Additionally, Infection Control Manager complies with state, federal and Joint Commission standards relating to infection control. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Infection Control Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Construction Quality Control Manager:
Serves as the main contact between the engineers and the contractor - will report directly to the Owner
- Ideally 5-10 years of professional experience as a QCM with USACE experience
- Working knowledge of RMS and other standard construction software
- Contact procedures, submittals, reviewing for accuracy, approval from designer and government, redlines, as builts, progress meetings with Architects/Engineers and document tracking
- Responsible for managing and coordinating the prep meetings and initial phase meetings
- Managing meeting minutes, inspections, proper documentation, testing and review of submittals
- Ensure that the contract is met and that the contract is built along contract documents
- Inspections - responsible for quality
- Coordination with testing firms, setting up inspections, review of information, ensure compliance within the contract, scheduling
