You will be working with the owner of the business on a daily basis. As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable process and ensuring timely collection of payments from customers. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal teams and external clients.
### Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections
- Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue payments
- Collaborate with Field Foramen to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
- Prepare monthly financial reports related to accounts receivable
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of the accounts receivable process
- Take the Daily tickets from the Filed Foreman each day and turn them in to billing either daily or weekly.
- Fill out each customers forms that go in with billing. Prog payment sheet, lien releases.
- Keep track of and prepare change order requests.
-Set up new clients with W-9, request and request COI from insurance brokers.
- Train and mentor accounts receivable staff members
### Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of governmental accounting, corporate accounting, and technical accounting principles
- Proficiency in job cost coding and account reconciliation
- 10 years of Experience with QuickBooks software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
