Job Summary:
Health Information Management (HIM) Director is responsible for managing and securing patient records. Position will continuously be analyzing, and protecting digital and traditional medical information vital to providing quality patient care. The HIM Director will work with computers and software to comply with federal mandates for electronic storage of patient information. Responsible to monitor the release of information, record processing, physician's documentation, scanning, coding/abstracting and transcription services.
