In this role, you will: Lead or participate in computer security incident response activities for moderately complex events Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies Provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security Review and correlate security logs Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Required Qualifications, US: 4 years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 3 years’ experience in NGFW- Deep understanding of Next-Generation Firewall technologies from leading vendors (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.). 3 years’ experience in design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot complex NGFW solutions in diverse environments. 2 years’ experience in networking principles, protocols, and architectures. Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, VPN, DNS, and DHCP is essential. 2 years’ experience in security principles, frameworks, and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks). Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerability management, and risk assessment techniques. 2 years’ experience in designing and implementing security solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to security policies and standards 2 years’ experience of successfully managing large-scale security projects, from conception through deployment and maintenance. 1 years’ experience in incident response and security operations. Desired Qualifications: Automation Platforms: Experience with automation and orchestration platforms (such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef) to streamline security operations and enforce security policies at scale. Automation & Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages, particularly Python, for automating security tasks related to firewall management, log analysis, and incident response. Experience with additional scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) is a plus. Cloud Security: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their native security controls. Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools. Security certifications a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
