Information Security Director establishes and administers the overall strategies and procedures for the information security function. Develops and implements information security and disaster recovery programs in accordance with organizational information security standards. Being an Information Security Director evaluates information risk on a regular time schedule and promotes information security awareness within the organization. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Information Security Director typically reports to top management. The Information Security Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Salary:
Full-time administrative/management assignment (223-day work year), 12 months per year, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with evenings and/or weekends as needed. Current eight-step schedule ranges from $132,702 to $186,723 per year. Salary placement is determined by documented education and experience. A doctoral stipend of $4,775 per year is provided to eligible employees. Position scheduled to begin as soon as possible, pending funding and Governing Board ratification. Cabrillo is unable to sponsor work visas.
