Information Security Director establishes and administers the overall strategies and procedures for the information security function. Develops and implements information security and disaster recovery programs in accordance with organizational information security standards. Being an Information Security Director evaluates information risk on a regular time schedule and promotes information security awareness within the organization. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Information Security Director typically reports to top management. The Information Security Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Information Security Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     The Senior Information Security Analyst III performs advanced system security administration on designated technology platforms including operating systems, applications, and network devices. This position serves as a liaison and knowledge expert for communications related to information security both with internal colleagues as well as third parties.

     

    This role is 100% remote in our remote-eligible states. We are accepting applicants that can work remotely and live in AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, MT, NC, NE, NV, TN, TX, OH, WA, or WI.


    Qualifications

    Education

    Associates Degree in Information Security or related field is required.

    Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security or related field is preferred.

    H.S. Diploma and three years of relevant experience in information security, cyber security, or other related field may be considered in lieu of degree.

     

    Experience

    Seven (7) years of experience in information security or cyber security is required. (This experience level is required in addition to the experience that would be required in lieu of education if colleague does not meet the Associates degree requirement.)

     

    Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

    Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security , or other information security/cyber security certification is preferred.
