Information Security Manager is responsible for developing and managing Information Systems cyber security, including disaster recovery, database protection and software development. Manages IS security analysts to ensure that all applications are functional and secure. Being an Information Security Manager develops and delivers IS security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise. Implements procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards. Additionally, Information Security Manager migrates non-compliant environments to compliant environments. Evaluates the organization to ensure compliance with standards and relevance with industry security norms. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Information Security Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Information Security Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     POSITION OVERVIEW
     
    AITC seeks an Information Technology Security Analyst to support security and information assurance activities.  
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
     
    Responsible for all activities relating to information assurance procedures and systems. 
    Plan, implement, and update security measures and controls to protect an organization's computer systems, networks, and data from security breaches.  
    Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting. 
    Perform vulnerability remediation.
    Identify and analyze violations and security breaches, determine their root cause, and reperform remediation. 
    Investigates and appropriately responds to active alerts and security breaches. 
    Collaborates with the security team to determine the best solution to address detected vulnerabilities. 
    Consults with and advises other sections regarding internal controls and security procedures. 
    Monitor compliance with cyber security policies and procedures across the installation.  
    Prepares activity and progress reports relating to the information systems audit function.
    Additional duties as assigned.
     
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
     
    ITIL Foundations within 6 months.
    SECRET Clearance (ability to obtain clearance for Associate level)
    Security CE
    Must be a US citizen.
    Able to work Overtime as required.
    Must be available to travel as required.
     
    Associate Level (Experience & Education) – 0-3 years related experience / Associate degree in a related field
     
    Intermediate Level (Experience & Education) – 4-6 years related experience / Associate degree in a related field (Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred).
     
    Senior Level (Experience & Education) - 7 years related experience / Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
     
    PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
     
    Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations  
    MS Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate and/or a CISSP, Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) may be required.
    Host Based Security System (HBSS)
    Network Access Control (NAC)
    Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
    NetForensics Log Manager
    Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
    Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)
    Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
    Risk Management Framework (RMF)
    One of the following:
    o CEH
    o Cloud
    o CySA
    o PenTest
    o SSCP
     
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
     
    Predominantly indoors in normal office environment.
    Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach.
    Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
    May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time.
    Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
    Must have visual acuity.
    Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds.
