Client in Bakersfield, California is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the successful deployment of SAP S/4 HANA and accompanying business process and data changes. Operates upstream oil and gas assets in Central California.

The work location is Bakersfield, CA on a hybrid work schedule, 9/80 or 4/10 s.

Monday & Friday are remote; Tuesday thru Thursday are in-person at the Bakersfield, CA office.

Occasional travel to Houston, TX and oilfield locations in Central California may be required and the six (6) SJVBU field locations in the San Joaquin and Salinas Valleys is required, estimated at 20%.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing projects in a hybrid waterfall/agile environment, collaborating with key stakeholders in Bakersfield CA and Houston TX. The ideal candidate will also have experience developing business processes, as well as data analytics and reporting. Experience with SAP S/4HANA deployments is a plus.

Required Experience:

12 years experience as a project manager in a fast-paced environment (e.g. oilfield, manufacturing)

Experience in waterfall and agile project environments. Preferred experience in a hybrid environment, whereby the team works agile inside waterfall constraints.

Proficient in Excel and PowerBI, specifically data analytics, queries, visualizations and reports.

Proficient as a SharePoint Administrator (not Developer). The Deployment Plan is managed in SharePoint, linked to a Microsoft Project file.

Preferred Experience:

Preferred knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its modules, functionalities, and integration points.

Preferred experience as a Project Manager overseeing SAP S/4HANA deployments.

Preferred experience in the oilfield or manufacturing environment.

Bachelor s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
