Infrastructure Services Analyst

The award-winning Alameda County Information Technology Department (ITD) is hiring an Infrastructure Services Analyst.
DESPCRIPTION
Our current environment supports Physical and VMware virtual servers, mainly MS Windows servers and some Red Hat Linux servers. The platform contains the services also supported by the role, such as JBoss, Apache and Dot Net IIS web services. In addition, the role will support backend services for client applications such as Office365, Azure IAAS, Route53 and infrastructure tools such as monitoring, alerting, and reporting applications. Has responsibility for end-to-end from inception to implementation and ongoing support, including Project Management.

EITHER I
Experience: The equivalent of two (2) years of full-time increasingly responsible infrastructure experience (in one or more of the areas described in the Description section), that included documentation and project management activities. (Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of experience.)
OR II
Experience: The equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in the class of Infrastructure Services Technician in the Alameda County classified service.
