The IT Manager will support manufacturing by being on-site, improving department efficiency in a safe, high quality, and productive manner.
Responsibilities:
· Sets direction for the department, ensuring preparation for the future.
· Maintain and continually develop Wide Area Network connectivity and topology, emphasizing dependability, speed and fault tolerance between divisions, corporate offices and resources and to customers.
· Sustain development of remote access/control systems environments, allowing for efficient management of many systems by fewer and off-site personnel.
· Manage and oversee all duties of the department personnel.
· Oversee administrative duties on all divisional servers and PC’s.
· Plan and supervise upgrades on hardware and software as required.
· Support enterprise, cross-divisional Microsoft Office, Active Directory, e-mail servers and CAD systems. Support EDI systems.
· Manage enterprise systems backups, including File and Print servers, SQL Database Servers, E-Mail Servers, PC’s.
· Assist company personnel in development of small applications and/or manage relationships with outside companies to deliver required applications.
· Evaluation and implementation of MRP, CMS, and other software applications.
· Investigates and researches new technology.
· Oversee all installations and support of all company software and manages compliance.
· Assist in management of vendor software agreements/contracts.
· Oversee all set-up and support of all users on all systems.
· Develop and maintain network wiring and phone systems.
· Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Minimum of 5 years IT Management experience in a manufacturing environment
· Excellent analytical skills and computer skills including Microsoft Office
