Evaluates IT infrastructure in terms of risk to the organization and establishes controls to mitigate loss. Being an Information Technology Auditor determines and recommends improvements in current risk management controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Information Technology Auditor typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Information Technology Auditor work is closely managed. Assists the Director in the management of IT functions and systems operations as well as the delivery of IT services to end-users and customers. As second in charge of the Information Technology Department, this position is accountable for the delivery of effective and efficient customer service and IT service management.
Employee has direct supervisory responsibility for two (2) employees.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid driver's license or obtain one by date of hire. Must be able to pass FBI criminal background fingerprint check and have the ability to comply with state and federal requirements for criminal justice information security standards.
