    POSITION SUMMARY:

    An IT summer intern will have the opportunity to work closely with BTHI IT professionals on real-world projects and activities to develop and sharpen their IT skills. This role will provide hands-on experience in one or more areas such as: IT helpdesk, business application support, cloud, cybersecurity, and more. Specific responsibilities will include supporting projects as assigned and may be influenced by the intern’s specific learning goals.  On-the-job training, on-site meetings, and department-wide learning opportunities will be available.   

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:          

    1. Collaborate with the IT team to maintain hardware, cloud, and a variety of software applications (both SaaS and on-prem)
    2. Provide IT support services to internal stakeholders.
    3. Engage with department business partners and IT personnel to document business requirements on new engagements and actively participate in any one of several projects on the BioTissue project portfolio.

     

    POSITION EXPERTISE/QUALIFICATIONS:       

     

    1. Rising Junior or Senior actively working towards a 4-year Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar degree.
    2. Minimum GPA of 3.5
    3. Proven leadership skills either in through extracurriculars or professional experience
    4. Innovative problem solving skills
    5. Knowledge of MS Office
    6. Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to work with others to accomplish tasks, assignments and projects
    7. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, as we do not offer sponsorship
