We are looking for a motivated and hard-working information technology professional to join our team to manage IT efforts across the hospitality group.

The Information Technology Manager is responsible for providing subject matter expertise for all technology projects. This role also provides a high level of IT support services to guests and staff by coordinating technology deployments. This is a technical role with operational and service-oriented aspects. This role provides guidance and leadership within the hospitality leadership and operations teams and will possess both hospitality industry experience and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain department budget
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the information technology function, plan and organize work and configuration reports, job control languages, program files and data files on the computer system(s) to ensure maximum operating efficiency
• Install and test corporate approved program changes to the hotel and affiliated businesses’ computer system(s)
• Understand all standards and customized features and functions of the hotel front office systems, point of sale systems, and other systems, including but not limited to system security, system reports, manager functions, system utilities, and user functions
• Control all user IDs, passwords, and security parameters
• Establish documents, test, and communicate appropriate emergency procedures to follow when the computer system(s) are inoperable
• Work closely with the Maintenance department to ensure the proper maintenance of all in-room technology.
• Execute special projects and perform other duties as assigned
• Some travel required

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or five years of related work experience preferred
• Knowledgeable about network administration PC and network trouble shooting file server configuration, backup systems configuration, network switch management operating system, and application software upgrading
• A Certification or equivalent experience
• CCNE Certification or equivalent experience
• Experience with phone systems, Wi-Fi hardware, fiber software and hardware as well as daily use of office equipment such as printers, copy machines, and fax machines
• Fluent in a variety of software and hardware programs with recent training and experience including Microsoft 365 suite
• Self-starter and quick to learn new software programs and technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and follow through
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a variety of environments and to stand, walk, and climb as needed
• Must be on call, able to work nights, holidays and weekends as business needs dictate
• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality related information technology preferred
• Able to travel as needed
