Information Technology Auditor Manager manages audit projects of information systems, platforms, and operating procedures following established policies and standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Coordinates resources and deliverables for annual and ongoing evaluations of IT infrastructure and establishes controls and audit procedures to identify areas of risk or non-compliance. Being an Information Technology Auditor Manager evaluates audit results and recommend improvements in current risk management controls, system implementation, and upgrade processes. Develops staff capabilities and competencies with training and coaching that reflect IT auditing best practices. Additionally, Information Technology Auditor Manager communicates overall regulatory, compliance, or operational readiness assessment results and follow-up action items to stakeholders. Coordinates external audit projects and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Information Technology Auditor Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Information Technology Auditor Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities

    Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is searching for a Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

     

    Performs oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of information system security program policy; special emphasis placed upon integration of existing SAP network infrastructures, advises program managers on security testing methodologies and processes, evaluate certification documentation and provide written recommendations for accreditations, periodically review system security to accommodate changes to policy or technology. This position may require priviledge access and DODM 8570.01M restrictions will apply.


    Qualifications

    Desired skills/experience:

    • Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
    • Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office

    Education/Certification

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 8 years’ related professional experience; Or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 4 years' related professional experience
    • Must have IAT Level II

    Clearance:

    • Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.

     

    Location/Travel Requirements:

    • Place of work is Colorado Springs, remote work opportunity is limited. You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.

    The pay range for this position in Colorado is $125,000/year to $150,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act.
