Coordinates resources and deliverables for annual and ongoing evaluations of IT infrastructure and establishes controls and audit procedures to identify areas of risk or non-compliance. Being an Information Technology Auditor Manager evaluates audit results and recommend improvements in current risk management controls, system implementation, and upgrade processes. Develops staff capabilities and competencies with training and coaching that reflect IT auditing best practices. Additionally, Information Technology Auditor Manager communicates overall regulatory, compliance, or operational readiness assessment results and follow-up action items to stakeholders. Coordinates external audit projects and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Information Technology Auditor Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.     Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Emergency Preparedness Coordinator to join our team!

     

    JOB SUMMARY:       

    Manage, maintain, configure, design, improve, and oversee the overall network for MVH and IFCH organizations.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve computer networks to help the company run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. 
    2. Perform network design and capacity planning. Create and update network diagrams when needed.
    3. Install, maintain, and configure network equipment such as firewalls, switches, wireless controllers, and wireless access points.
    4. Manage and maintain existing VPN site to site tunnels or create new VPN site to site tunnels using secure practices.
    5. Monitor network performance through tools such as Whats Up Gold, Solarwinds Network Monitor, DNA Center, or other network monitors.
    6. Work with the System and Network team on day to day tasks, mentor other team members to grow the skills of the entire team.
    7. Respond quickly to network interruptions or performance degradation; help align System and Network team on critical tasks to help expedite a resolution. Work with Cisco TAC and other vendors as needed.
    8. Diagnose problems with network equipment and performs equipment repair or upgrades when appropriate.
    9. Oversee regularly scheduled network maintenance such as applying firmware upgrades to firewalls, network switches, etc.
    10. Assist IT staff in troubleshooting network related issues with a variety of end point equipment.
    11. Develop and maintain a backup methodology of firewall and switch configurations to minimize downtime with firewalls and switches that need reconfigured.
    12. Oversee IT staff is following physical cabling standards in data closets throughout the organization.
    13. Utilize and manage tools related to IPS/IDS, internet traffic filtering, firewall ACLs, Cisco FirePower, etc to prevent security risks.
    14. Work with IT leadership, InfoSec, and others to create, establish and enforce policies and procedures, and standards regarding LAN, WLAN, and WAN security practices to protect organization assets and data.
    15. Research network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and improvement efforts

    Qualifications


    Education/Certification: 4 years of network administration experience, Associate Degree or greater; certifications a plus.

     

    Experience:  3-4 years in related field. Experience with Cisco and Meraki firewalls, switches, access points, Cisco WLCs; Cisco FirePower and Firepower management consoles a must.

     

    Equipment/Technology: Cisco, Meraki, networking protocols, layer2/3 networking; firewall management; site to site VPN tunnels, layer1 knowledge and understanding; LAN/WAN troubleshooting

     

    Language/Communication: Communication skills using speech and writing. Excellent customer services skills

     

    Mental Capabilities: Strong problem solving and ability to prioritize and work unsupervised. Can adhere to and follow instructions given to by IT Manager or team lead.

     

    Interpersonal:  Ability to interact with all personality types.

     

    Performance: Ability to systematically troubleshoot complex problems often times under pressure and time constraints.
