Being an Information Technology Auditor Manager evaluates audit results and recommend improvements in current risk management controls, system implementation, and upgrade processes. Develops staff capabilities and competencies with training and coaching that reflect IT auditing best practices. Summary:
Tuskegee University is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (Lead) to join their growing Technology Team and to provide technical support, managing service requests, and provide tmubleshooting on various technology systems and software at the College of Engineering. This candidate will work with Faculties, students, colleagues to maintain systems, support operations, evaluate new technologies, work with central OIT to procure new systems, install computer systems, network equipment, AV systems and engineering lab platforms. We are looking for a candidate that is motivated to work at a dynamic university considering the opportunity to learn and lead in several important initiatives at the College as well as to partner with OIT initiatives. The ideal candidate must enjoy discussing or explaining complex systems with non-technical peers and be an ambitious self-starting technical innovator and IT pmfessional with a passion for engineering and technology. The ideal candidate will be adept at communicating highly technical topics with teammates, management, faculty, staff and students.
The IT Manager reports to the Dean of Engineering College with a dotted reporting to the CIO.
