Information Technology Auditor Manager manages audit projects of information systems, platforms, and operating procedures following established policies and standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Coordinates resources and deliverables for annual and ongoing evaluations of IT infrastructure and establishes controls and audit procedures to identify areas of risk or non-compliance. Being an Information Technology Auditor Manager evaluates audit results and recommend improvements in current risk management controls, system implementation, and upgrade processes. Develops staff capabilities and competencies with training and coaching that reflect IT auditing best practices. Additionally, Information Technology Auditor Manager communicates overall regulatory, compliance, or operational readiness assessment results and follow-up action items to stakeholders. Coordinates external audit projects and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Information Technology Auditor Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Information Technology Auditor Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco operates the Multi-Service Center - Northern California’s largest homeless shelter, Navigation Centers for chronically homeless individuals and couples and the Riley Center - Domestic Violence shelter and services for survivors.     SALARY AND BENEFIT OVERVIEW

    The salary range is $75,000-$90,000 DOE. Kaiser HMO paid in full for employee.  Voluntary dental, life, and vision insurance. 403b retirement plan with employer paid match after 1 year of employment.  Ten vacation and ten sick days accrued per year in the first year. Two personal floating holidays and twelve and a half holidays offered per year. Employee Assistance Program.


    JOB SUMMARY

    The Information Technology Systems Manager (IT Manager) supports the work of St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco (SVDP) across all program and administrative sites.  The Manager directly supports the work of 200 employees by ensuring all systems, applications, and hardware are operational and reflective of best practice in IT systems management. They will provide oversight of SVDP’s infrastructure, network, and cloud-based programs, and will lead IT assessment and procurement processes. The Manager will further strengthen internal operations by troubleshooting issues as they occur, and will be proactive in systems changes as organizational needs expand. 

    The position requires someone with a strong background in IT Systems Management, project management, and who is highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.  The ability to multi-task and to work with individuals with disparate computer/technology skills is essential. This is a full-time, exempt non-union position. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Location: SVDP Administrative Office at 1175 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA and Program Sites.

      

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Administer appropriate levels-related security controls, governance, compliance, and data loss prevention to secure enterprise computing assets from vulnerabilities and threats related to this position (e.g., anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-spyware, etc.).
    • Lifecycle management, patching, analysis, recommendations, and upgrades: server /storage infrastructure, hypervisor, operating systems and mission-critical applications and databases.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including topologies, configurations, and policies
    • Diagnosing and troubleshooting computer challenges: This includes identifying the source, isolating the issue, and resolving the problem.
    • Installing and configuring software: This includes installing new software, updating existing software, and configuring software settings.
    • Repairing or replacing hardware: This includes replacing broken or malfunctioning hardware, such as printers, monitors, and laptops.
    • Provide internet and voice services (VOIP) support. This includes configuring routers and switches, provisioning internet and voice connections, and troubleshooting internet and voice problems.
    • Providing training to employees on how to use technology as needed. This includes training on how to use new software, troubleshoot common problems, and maintain their computers.
    • Maintain WiFi access. This includes configuring WiFi access points, troubleshooting WiFi problems, and ensuring that WiFi is secure.
    • Managing software licenses: This includes tracking software licenses, ensuring that license are valid, and renewing licenses as needed.
    • Procurement of IT Equipment: This includes ordering new computers, laptops, peripherals, and mobile phones, tracking asset inventory of IT supplies, and ensuring that supplies are available when needed, and managing the IT vendor relationships.
    • Provide support for company-wide IT initiatives. This includes providing support for new IT projects, such as the implementation of a new file sharing system or the migration to a new cloud-based platform or participating in after-hours upgrades, troubleshooting and/or on-call availability as needed.
    • Perform additional assignments and duties as assigned.  

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be detail- oriented, with effective time-management skills. They will have the ability to manage varying issues with tact and diplomacy, including the ability to maintain professional boundaries with staff and volunteers.  They will have 3 years of relevant IT experience. Additional key qualifications include:

    • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and discretion about confidential matters.
    • Professional standards including follow-through, responsiveness, and ability to receive constructive feedback. 

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Minimum two years’ experience in desktop support, IT administration or similar role; and/or intensive project management experience with organizations of 100 or more employees, preferably in the non-profit sector.
    • Excellent computer skills and software knowledge MS Office 365, (web apps and applications), database management (Salesforce) cloud-based document storage (Drop Box and SharePoint), Adobe Suite, DocuSign and other IT-related applications.
    •  Knowledge and experience with various Windows Operating Systems (Microsoft certifications desirable)
    • Networking experience including Switching, Firewall, TCP/IP, Routing, VLAN, DNS, DHCP
    • Comfort working with a diverse community including LGBTQQ, youth, immigrants, low income communities and varying ethnicities.
    • Proficiency in other languages, Spanish or local significant languages, a plus.
    • Flexibility to travel to SVDP program sites as needed. (required)
