Information Technology Auditor Manager manages audit projects of information systems, platforms, and operating procedures following established policies and standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Coordinates resources and deliverables for annual and ongoing evaluations of IT infrastructure and establishes controls and audit procedures to identify areas of risk or non-compliance. Being an Information Technology Auditor Manager evaluates audit results and recommend improvements in current risk management controls, system implementation, and upgrade processes. Develops staff capabilities and competencies with training and coaching that reflect IT auditing best practices. Additionally, Information Technology Auditor Manager communicates overall regulatory, compliance, or operational readiness assessment results and follow-up action items to stakeholders. Coordinates external audit projects and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Information Technology Auditor Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Information Technology Auditor Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Information Technology (IT) Manager

  • The Straz Center in now seeking a Information Technology Manager. The Straz Center for the performing arts is a Non-Profit organization in the heart of downtown Tampa, who has been inspiring, educating and enriching our entire community through the trans-formative power of the performing arts for over 30 years.     The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, security and recovery of the organizations information technology infrastructure, including workstations, servers, data network, and phone systems. This position also provides team participation, leadership, supervision and direction for a portion of the technology group and serves as second in charge to the Senior Director of Information Technology.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provides project management for technology-initiated activities.
    • Supervision of designated IT staff.
    • Assists in maintaining the organization's information security and overall Cybersecurity posture.
    • Assists with departmental and organizational Business Resiliency Planning.
    • Serves as second in charge to the Senior Director of Information Technology.
    • Serves as the organizations Systems Administrator, including the following:
      • Develops and maintains the organization's on-premise data and network infrastructure.
      • Develops and maintains the organization's cloud/hosted infrastructure.
      • Develops and maintains business systems including Microsoft 365, Email/SMTP platforms, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, and other server based or hosted applications and services.
      • Works to resolve system errors or failures. Identifies system problems and implements corrective actions. Addresses problems in hardware, software and procedures.
      • Assists with system design and performs or oversees hardware and software installation and maintenance.
      • Works with the help desk to provide technical assistance to other departments.
      • Monitors resource utilization and recommends infrastructure changes/upgrades, when necessary.
      • Develops, implements, and monitors data backup and archiving procedures.
      • Troubleshoots a variety of workstation related issues.
      • Communicates information effectively to the staff, project managers, vendors, consultants and clients.
      • Properly documents system and user documentation, assets, administrative, and licensing information.
      • Monitors the day-to-day operation of the phone system and telephone communications. Reports problems to the appropriate vendor and monitors resolution.
    • Must be available for on-call and after-hours support, as needed.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    This position is responsible for hiring, training, supervising a team of approximately 3 Full-Time staff.

    Other:

    • Performs other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director of IT, or Senior Management.
    • Participates in departmental staff meetings.
    • Performs other departmental functions as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the IT function.
    • Keeps current and maintains knowledge of the latest technologies with respect to the performing arts business.

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

    • Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
    • In-depth knowledge of IT hardware and software sufficient to design state-of-the-art solutions to business requirements and quickly resolve problems.
    • In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and Microsoft Hosted Environment, as well as AWS Hosted Environment.
    • Experience in maintaining a virtual server environment with VMware ESX server and/or V-Sphere.
    • Experience with a variety of network infrastructure hardware including Fortinet, Cisco, and Extreme.
    • Experience with supporting 100 workstations.
    • Trouble-shooting skills and deductive reasoning sufficient to gather relevant symptoms, deduce probable cause, research information sources, as necessary, and resolve the problem in the minimum amount of time.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to foster relationships with the staff.
    • Ability to establish and maintain detailed documentation on the organization's IT environment.
    • Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees within the organization as well as strategic vendors and business partners outside of the organization.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and provide information in a timely manner.
    • Ability to handle many projects simultaneously and demonstrate good judgment and maturity in decision making.
    • Experience managing technical staff members.

    Education and Work Experience:

    • Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Three (3) or more years' experience in the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of a complex IT infrastructure.
    • MCITP, MCTS, and CCNA certifications preferred, but not required.
